These pirates are on the lookout for a crew and are keen to practice their pillaging techniques as they move through the streets of Knaresborough town centre. Youngsters can join them if they dare! Free

Don’t miss feva’s fantastic free, open-air concert in this stunning natural amphitheatre.

Hosted by the brilliant DJ Trev, this year’s bands include:

  • Hot Sauce (from 12.30pm to 1 pm)
  • Tom Silcox and Chris Kramer (1.30pm to 2.15 pm)
  • Dori and the Outlaws (2.45pm to 3.30 pm)
  • Band of Friends (4pm to 5 pm).

All welcome; bring your own food and drink. There will be Spin Art and ice creams.

In Knaresborough House there will be teas and coffees supplied by Knaresborough in Bloom and an art exhibition on all weekend by the wonderful Knaresborough-based illustrator Caroline Miekina to celebrate the life and times of Blind Jack Metcalf, as part of the tri-centenary celebrations of his birth.

Memory Box

Henshaws – 2 to 5pm

Memory Box is an interactive installation interspersed with dance performance, suitable for all ages. It has come from the community, performed for the community; a celebration of the past, present and future generations.

Step inside our Memory Box and join us to celebrate the positivity and wonder of childhood, through interactive play and dance.

There will be lots of fun activities, games and dancing for the whole family to enjoy.
