Join Sir Neil, Knaresborough Castle’s resident Sword Master, to learn the secrets of the medieval longsword and exactly how to use one!

Sir Neil will also have a selection of historical arms and armour for you to discover down in the dungeon.

Phil Lyons and the New Vintage Band

Back by popular demand after a sell out show last year, Phil Lyons & the New Vintage Band are a fully live 8 piece band made up of some of Yorkshires finest young, professional musicians.

The band, led by charismatic vocalist Phil Lyons, has been bringing their cool, ‘vintage’ sounds and style to weddings, functions and events across the UK since 2012. This fun and high energy show consists of popular music from 1930’s Jazz to 40’s Swing and Jive, 50’s Rock ‘n’ Roll and finishing with the early soul hits of the 1960’s. Paying a respectful tribute to artists such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Ray Charles, Louis Prima, Elvis Presley, Bill Haley, Chuck Berry, Jackie Wilson, Wilson Picket, James Brown and many more.
